Is there any way of changing how to add images into forum replies ?

Using Jamroom

Isn't this all taken care of by using the two modules "editor embedded media" in conjunction with "editor image upload" ? With those two modules activated, I have no trouble embedding images, site videos, and other files into forum posts as i create the posts. I can upload new images from there to embed in the post as well. I dont have to go back again to add files or images.

Am I missing something?

Trying to change header

Design and Skin Customization

Not knowing much myself, I saw that the default Jamroom header was "logo.png"...so I simply created my own and kept it a png, and named it the same, "logo" and just substituted it for the JR one on my server. That worked for me and it shrinks a bit when the screen gets smaller. If Perry has a flat color like black for both the banckground of the logo .png and the whole header too, then it doesn't need to be transparent anyway, right?

Odd gray bars on side of Ninga skin

Design and Skin Customization

I think it's that wrapper png in red above that is showing.
I went into my server thorugh filezilla, downloaded a copy of the wrapper png image, edited only the color of it in photoshop, then copied the new one back right on top/replaced the grey wrapper .png on my server. Then I refreshed cache and boom...right color wrapper background.

Trying to change header

Perrie, isn't the "ninja name" in your header/banner simply an image file (.jpg or .png) placed in the current header banner? I think it may be called "logo".
I made a new .jpg the same general dimensions as the ningja image file, of my network logo, and I gave it the same name as the ninja logo file, and uploaded it to replace the ninja logo image in my banner. I may have even gone into my server via Filezilla and manually replaced the "logo" image file with my own, of the same name. I think it was in my active skin's "image" folder. Then I refreshed the cahce including the checkbox for 'icons'...and there it was. I also copied the color # into my skin's "style/CSS" tab for the 'header bckgrnd'.
If you use firefox, there's a handy little eyedropper plugin called Colorpicker so you click on any colored object or area on your screen and it tells you what that specific color # code is.

A way of controlling big images added to forums

Using Jamroom

Ah, ok thanks John! I will save this thread and if I have that same problem of overflowing forum images, I'll revisit this and apply the code... (possibly I may not run into the problem, who knows). Thank you! :)

"The css below I just added to the sites list css at the top"

Where is that location, John- in the skin, or within which module? (i'm not using site builder)

Cant Upload Images To Gallery

Using Jamroom

It'd be great if when we have 'group by gallery' checked, it gave the quota a CHOICE to create a gallery for a new photo(s) or not...but didn't FORCE them to create or use a 'gallery' every time they just want to add a photo to their profile photo section. or...am I not 'getting' something or some setting maybe?

That's NOT normal. Should be jumping along speedily from line to line.
Some of my modules took a half hour to go through several thousand. But your numbers are way bigger.
Mine is a music, not photography site, and yesterday I ran the tool over everything, with a 1536px setting (by coincidence I picked the same setting)...and it meant in the end my JR server was now 60% full rather than 75% full. Great tool, makes me real happy! :)

"is there an easy css way to limit the image sizes in forum discussions and blogs to 50% width"
- Man, I would LOVE something like that as well! People embed HUGE images into their forum posts sometimes....highly annoying knowing we'll all have to pay for their unlimited excesses.
