Members from ning archive are still listed in reverse order

I'm still having an issue with this.
When I go to see the overall view of members on (mysite).com/profile ... the 3 or so new members who have joined since I started my JR site are listed first, but then it proceeds to show all members in order of oldest joined first- which is page after page of people who joined my ning site when it began in 2009. You'd have to go to page 184 to see the most recent joined members. That's too creepy and inefficient. And some of the folks on page 1 are known by many of my members ...to be now passed away. !

I know this was brought up at some point to be corrected, but did it ever get addressed? I can't remember now who was talking about fixing this. Or was something in fact adjusted so that it would be automatically fixed the next time I import (or re-import) members from my Ning archive?

Two things I would like for member profile pages

1) the location of the member- city, and US state or country. My members really need to know the general location of other members when trying to help them find teachers, or planning trips to festivals, etc. Not having that show would be a disappointment to all of us.

2) can we get some sort of text box on member pages or an "About me" kind of simple box they can type in things like what instruments they play, hobbies, etc? I use my sign-up questions mostly to weed out spammers, not to give a place for members to describe their interests. Members love to have a place for "About Me" info. Maybe it's available but I am not seeing the option?

I got through my Ningja skin update...hope it doesn't happen 'too' often, with all the copying over of various customizations in all kinds of template areas and tabs...oy!
Just wanted to say that during the process, that weird 'latest' link in the header bar links went away for me too. Always nice when something resolves itself!

new ningja unchecked checkboxes on update

I noticed this as well after I updated my Ningja skin today- quite a few template items showed new "Reset" buttons in various places yet I had never modified in those areas. Won't be an earth shattering problem except that it will likely get doubly confusing trying to know what we had actually modified and what we hadn't. I'm confused enough already- lol.
Still having my cloning issue which I just posted about in my other thread. While cutting/pasting modifications from each old skin version to the new it makes it worse if there are phony reset buttons appearing as well. Could these reset buttons possibly be sticky from the template changes you guys made to the new skin updates?

My Developer Tools skin cloner is not working right

I have updated to the newest Ningja skin, and had to copy/paste my previous customizations into it, which all seemed to work well enough but took me way too much time.

After several more hours of looking it all over, I have come to realize that when i make a CLONE of a skin, the new clone DOES HAVE all the correct parent customization code in its templates such as in the header menu desktop and mobile templates, and those things are activated in their checkboxes and all...
But the customizations do not SHOW on my site when I set the clone as the active skin. The cloned skin appears as totally unmodified and untouched by me, except for the logo image at top (see my description in previous posts here). Yet the code in its templates is in fact all correct with the style modifications in place.

This is pretty weird and really must be fixed, or figured out ...what the hell is going on with it- ???? (and yes I am cache clearing integrity etc etc like mad)

Why am I able to clone a perfect cloned skin yet it does not present or exhibit my customizations online when set as the active skin ??? Please, this is going to repeatedly cause all kinds of issues every time a new update happens.

FWIW: I am seeing this 'latest' link and action on my site banner now too, and my header links are sunken down too far now....and I have not even applied the new Ningja skin update yet.
I have noted down my headermenu customization codes and am going to update my ningja skin now, come what may. See you on the other side...lol

My other main problem right now is that I can't seem to make a true cloned skin, but I think Michael is the person looking at that area.

On the other hand, this one has kept its name in the url window:
http://(mysite).com/jeff-menzies/gallery/5776/6050-holly4.jpg
Yet when I do a gallery search for the word holly, or even for holly4, the search window first capitalizes the H in holly, and then gives me only a photo posted by a lady with the first name of Holly. Again, returning results only based on the name of the member who posted a photo.

Original import. Didnt change anything or re-import.

I have a fresh ning archive that I am about to upload onto my server in a couple of days. I had been planning to test out doing an import over the old content to test the "replace" feature of the Import Module. But no, I have done nothing since the first ning content import- which I believe Paul did for me.

I had re-imported the groups/forums folders of content when you created the Forums discussions thingy. but I had left images/photos alone.
