Jamroom Why Are You Stripping My Video Code From HTML?

Using Jamroom

Debugging this now, but its getting late.

What I've found so far is that its not jamroom specificly this time, its tinymce as far as I can see.

When I add your script to the code section, then click OK to return to the editor view, all seams like it worked, but if I then open the tinymce again the code pasted in is gone.

So when its saved to the jamroom datastore, the code isn't there. I'll look for why that could be tomorrow.

See its not just us trying to save you from nasty code, others are trying to too :p :)

AWS new longer EC2 Resource IDs...action required?

Using Jamroom

Thanks for the email, as of right now, don't do anything. Reading the email it states that the new id system will start from March 7, 2016, its only Jan 2016 now and we have until Dec 2016 to get it implemented.

If anything needs to be changed, we'll get it changed in the module. I suspect that its just amazon giving you notification because there is no individual signup just for S3, so "just in case" you're using one of the other services that were given as extras when you signed up, they are notifying you.

For now ignore it and if you need to do anything later, we'll let you know. :)

Users Online search in ACP

Using Jamroom

The issue is that search field only searches on the username. In the next beta b11 of the user account, I've expanded it to also search on the group, the ip, and the url.

The 404 issue is different, I think thats the .htacces not redirecting the URL correctly into the jamroom system, need to ask brian about that as I think the fix is needed at the server level.

Users Online search in ACP

Using Jamroom

The "Loose the sidebar" is because the users online tool has been moved to the DASHBOARD, so its now at:
DASHBOARD -> USERS ONLINE

So its accessable for profile admins too as well as master admins, the new url is at:
/core/dashboard/online

Guessing you have a bookmark to /user/online.

Have to get back to you with the "why cant I use the LOCATION as a search bar search term" part of the question, need to debug whats coming in from the url. Can see it happening, so back soon. :)

Thanks jimmy, by "patch affected systems" are they just meaning running:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
on ubuntu systems to get it all updated, or is it more complicated?

Which module controls the form used to create and display profile data?

Using Jamroom

When you are logged in as the admin user and you click on the Profile Settings button on any profile, you will be taken to the form to update that profile.

On that form is the Form Designer button to adjust that form. (screenshot), use that one.

If you want to use the Form Designer to change, say, an audio files form, just go to the update form for any audio file and use the Form Designer from there. Same for any other media, use the Form Designer button from the form you want to alter.

Jamroom Why Are You Stripping My Video Code From HTML?

Using Jamroom

It does get displayed if you use a "Template Code" widget, its not getting displayed if you use the HTML Editor widget.

I'll look for what changed and why.

help me fix a few links

Ning To Jamroom

How do I recreate the issue here on my site. If you could provide steps that would help get an answer.

Currently all we know is some links that exists somewhere are not going to the location expected, but don't know where those links appear so its real hard to do any testing to try to figure out what the problem might be.

Thanks.
