Midnight Player Error

Using Jamroom

Good news: I have run the Integrity check and cleared the cache. The problem was fixed and the error is gone. The Midnight player displays fine now on the profil page.

Thanks :)

Midnight Player Error

Hi Mischael,
Maybe you didn't understand what I was trying to explain. The fact is I am receiving this player error on the audio page (in the profile) after setting the the Midnight Player as the default Skin Player (Player Type). I am using the Elastic skin.
You should probably be able to reproduce this error on your dev site after selecting the Midnight Player as the Player Type of your Skin.
Which skin is this for?
Thanks!

Well, it is my default JR Skin (Elastic skin).

Social Networks

Using Jamroom

Hello,

The social networks feature in the skin setting is great but it is limited with few items only (Facebook, Twitter, Google, Linkedin).

How to add more social networks: Youtube, Instagram, Pinterest etc?

Also like in our case, we are building a multilingual site and we have:

e.g:

facebook.com/english_page
facebook.com/french_page
facebook.com/spanish_page

twitter.com/english_page
twitter.com/french_page
twitter.com/spanish_page

How to get the site to point to let's say facebook.com/english_page when the english version of the JR site is visited and let's say to: facebook.com/french_page when the french version of site is visited?

Thanks

Audio and Video modules disappeared on the profile after using the "Apply To All Quotas" checkbox

Using Jamroom

michael:
That is the purpose of the "combined ????" modules.
To combine the audio from soundcloud and jrAudio into a single tab. If you want them on individual tabs, turn off the combined ????? moudles.

Oh ok, I didn't understand how it works. It makes sens now. But what is the name of the new tabs after combining soundcloud and jrAudio and Youtube and jrVideo? because i didn't see any.

Midnight Player Error

Using Jamroom

Hello JR Team,

I was just playing around with my skin and player settings, then i got the following error on the audio page (profile) when I select the Midnight Player:

{jrCore_media_player} invalid value received for "type" parameter (modules/jrAudio/templates/item_detail.tpl)

Hope this post will help to fix this error.

Thanks

Audio and Video modules disappeared on the profile after using the "Apply To All Quotas" checkbox

Using Jamroom

Update: It seems that the problem is the "Combined Audio" and "Combined Video" modules. if i enable them in the "Quotas Config" Tab, the Audio and Video modules don't show in the user profile. If I disable them, everything gets back to normal, the Audio and Video modules show back on the profile page.

Audio and Video modules disappeared on the profile after using the "Apply To All Quotas" checkbox

Using Jamroom

Hello JR Team,

I don't know whether it is a bug or not, but when the audio and video modules are enable to all quotas using the "Apply To All Quotas" checkbox, they just disappear from the user profile page. (no way to upload any audio or video file).

I have struggled to get them to appear back on the profile page. Even though you run the integrity check or clear cache, they don't show back.

The only solution I have found to fix this issue was to disable the audio and video modules in all the quotas, then run the integrity check and clear cache, then enable them back to the quotas one by one manually without using the "Apply To All Quotas" checkbox feature.

Note: I did the same with the Combined Audio and the Combined Video modules, just to make sure that everything will be working back fine in the system. BTW, all my modules are updated.

Maybe should try to investigate this issue.

Thanks.

How To Build a Multilingual Site Using The Site Builder?

Using Jamroom

brian:

Are all pages in the Elastic Template (timeline, audio, video, blog, playlist, etc) ready for a multilingual site or do I have to add the the {jrCore_lang} code in every single page?
They are already setup - the only time you would need to manually add the jrCore_lang function calls is in custom templates.https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/documentation/development/541/translate-jamroom-into-another-language

Ok, thanks. Please for God's sake, do not close this topic yet. I will give it a try and give some Feedback here. Thanks

How To Build a Multilingual Site Using The Site Builder?

Using Jamroom

brian:
If you need multilingual right now, you'd want to just use templates and not site builder - that's 100% doable right now. I know that's not what you're looking for though.
Sorry!

Well, Brian, once again I just feel sad. Anyway thanks for the reply.

Now, I would like to use the Elastic template for my multilingual site. I have read the other topic (see link in the first post of this topic) and I have already done some of the step. Also i have read the documentation. Well, it 's really frustrating.

Are all pages in the Elastic Template (timeline, audio, video, blog, playlist, etc) ready for a multilingual site or do I have to add the the {jrCore_lang} code in every single page?
