I need some clarification on what we need to do to have 3 NING forums, successfully migrated to 1 Jamroom site. I plan on continuing the use of the current 3 domain names for some time--they will map to a new JR forum. Ning archive out of date

Has anyone had this problem with the ning archive ? When we run the archive, the 'local' version of the json file is always a few days behind the original file. For example, in the archive we've run today, the first record in the members file is dated 2015-03-02 but in the 'local' version the first record is dated 2015-02-26. As the client doesn't want the site down for longer than 24 hours when we do the actually switch over, this gives us a major problem, as the site will not be up...

Group pages from Ning

Having now installed several Ning groups to our site, I am not seeing any of the many pages which were associated with those groups (please see image). Is this because these cannot be imported to Jamroom via Ning Achieve? Thanks in advance.

Not a question, but perhaps a useful review for anyone considering a move from Ning to Jamroom. birthdate field from Ning backup

There is a birthdate field that comes across from Ning in the format yyyy-mm-dd If I set this field up using the form designer and set it to use the date type it doesn't pick up the date because it's in the wrong format. Could the import correct the format or the date type allow the yyyy-mm-dd format ?

switched to the ning skin ..i was having a nightmare of a timed trying to adaapt the elastic skin this is soooo much better but couple coments questions and observations 1st off the photos on the front page are not clickable u gotta click all then try to find the 1 u wahnt in a gallery one in a gallery and u open a pic the > and i know i found a bug in that so i assume thats been removed while being fixed i had a question but let me try to figure it out myself b4 i ask it however...

As you may have heard, Ning is ejecting 2.0 customers by eliminating the Mini plan and doubling the hosting fees of the survivors. You might a flurry of refugees, like myself. Featuring - can be better than Ning

The NingNova2 skin I am running (thanks to Paul) has an innovation that with just a couple of tweaks, would be "the bomb" for featuring, and no former Ning user would ever miss that aspect.
