Jamroom hosting evaluation

Hi I am really interested in migrating our community from our current provider over to Jamroom. We would need to go with a hosted solution and I would have to be sure that Jamroom is a suitable fit for our requirements before my employer would agree to a subscription. Please could you tell me what options are available for evaluating Jamroom before committing to a subscription plan? Thanks

After updating Jamroom from 6.0.7 to 6.1.4 jrImage module stopped working and displaying raw characters instead of image. I am using S3 module. Please find the attached screenshot.

i am in the final stages of getting my site up on my new ubuntu server but running into issues with some pages not loading many thumbnails and such not loading i was having issues copying templates to /data/cache but setting that and modules and skins to 777 worked but everytime i think its fixed a diferent page stops working like system check or system update is there an easy way to make sure all permissions are correct edit i got much more working after doing find /home/greentechnologyf...

With FoxyCart, Jamroom 5 will not be as popular as Jamroom4. Please re-instate PayPal You should be taking care of your customers first and not create extra expenses for them.

Moving to Jamroom Server

You can see by the attached image why I'm seriously considering moving to a Jamroom server, but need more advice. I have two hosting packages with Arvixe ( https://www.arvixe.com/), one that I use for my Jamroom sites. Can I move these to a Jamroom server without loosing content, especially my Jamroom sites? How long will the process take? Plus lots of other questions...

I'm noticing I'm being logged out on some pages on this site. when I go to login and go back to the page I was on it logs me back out again. not sure what all pages but I know it does it on the docs page

Hi, it has been a while since I used jamroom. Now I was very much surprised where you guys came so far. Very nice. So I thought maybe I could switch to jamroom with a media project. This switch would need a SOAP integration so that I could fetch the media data from my seperated "digital asset management" system and bring it into jamroom.Media alike videos, photos, categorie lists etc ... Want to Upgrade to Jamroom 5

I am running Jamroom 4.0.13 and it is stable and working fine. I'd like to upgrade to Jamroom 5 but the task seems a little daunting. I don't care about the ecommerce module. That can go away for now. Will all of the video, audio and site visit stats transfer? Will my FLV videos be converted to HTML 5 video? http://www.lineoutlive.com Thanks!
