  • The Developer category

    The Developer category (ACP > Modules > Developer) holds tools for building and testing modules and skins. Most sites only need Developer Tools, and only while someone works on the site's code. Keep the others turned off on a live site.

    Module What it does
    Developer Tools Developer mode, database and cache tools, skin cloning, packaging. Comes with Jamroom.
    Database Loader Fills a test site with made-up users, profiles and items
    Javascript Event Logger Logs JavaScript errors from visitors' browsers in the Activity Log
    Skin Audit Finds unused and oversized images, and unused CSS, in a skin
    Unit Test Runs module unit tests and shows code coverage
