Quota Config

  • What it does

    Invitations lets members invite people to their profile, or to one of their items, such as an event or a group. Invitations go to followers on the site, or by email to a list of addresses.

    ACP > Modules > Users > Invitations

  • Using it

    In Quota Config, check Allowed on Profile for the quotas that may send invitations, and choose the Invitation Type.

    Members create an invitation from Invitations in their user menu: they choose the Item Type and Item Title, write a message, and choose who to invite. Received invitations are listed there too.

    Allowed on Profile Members of this quota can send invitations
    Max Items The most invitations a profile can create (0 = no limit)
    Item Approval Whether invitations need approval
    Invitation Type Who they can invite: Followers Only, an Email Address List, or both
