Quota Config

  • What it does

    Group Mailer lets a group's owner email its members, for example to announce a meeting.

    ACP > Modules > Groups > Group Mailer

  • Using it

    1. In Quota Config, check Allowed on Profile for the quotas whose group owners may send email.
    2. On their group page, the owner clicks Mail Members.
    3. They write the Email Subject and Email Content, choose the group to send to, and click Send Group Email. They can send a test to themselves first, and keep an email as a template to start from next time.

    Members can stop group emails in their Notifications settings. Each email has an unsubscribe link.

  • Quota Config

    Setting What it does
    Allowed on Profile Group owners in this quota can email their members
    Save As Template Saves each sent email as a template (default: on)
