What it does
Importing addresses

  • What it does

    User Import creates user accounts, each with a profile, from a list of email addresses. Use it to bring in a mailing list or the members of another system.

    ACP > Modules > Tools > User Import

  • Importing addresses

    On the Import Addresses tab:

    Field What it does
    Email Addresses Addresses to import, one per line
    Email Address File Or a text or CSV file: every email address in it is imported
    Quota ID The quota the new profiles go into
    Create Accounts Creates the accounts. Leave it off first to only list what would be created.

    Addresses that already have an account are skipped. To weed out addresses that no longer work, see Kickbox Email Validation.

    Tools > Repair finds and removes duplicate accounts with the same email address, which older versions of the module could create.
