The Activity Log (ACP > Dashboard > Activity Log) lists what happens on your site, newest first. That includes logins, new accounts, settings changes, background jobs such as daily maintenance, and errors. When something goes wrong, look here first.

    It has three tabs:

    • Activity Log: the events
    • Debug Log: debug output, used when tracking down a problem
    • Error Log: PHP errors
  • Finding an entry

    • Date and priority filters. The priorities are Debug, Informational, Minor, Major and Critical. Priority Only shows only minor, major and critical entries, which are the ones that usually need attention.
    • Search in the log text, user names or IP addresses.
    • Export downloads the log.
    • delete checked removes the selected entries.

How long entries are kept is set under ACP > Modules > Core > System Core > Global Config > Activity Log.
