  • jrCore_is_mobile_device()

    Returns true when the visitor uses a phone. It's false on tablets: use jrCore_is_tablet_device() for those.

    {if jrCore_is_mobile_device()}
    {jrCore_include template="header_menu_mobile.tpl"}
{else}
    {jrCore_include template="header_menu_desktop.tpl"}
{/if}

  • Detection uses the browser's user agent. For layout changes alone, CSS media queries are often simpler. See Different Content for Phones and Tablets.
