IN THE FOOTER CAN WE REMOVE THIS content management software | Powered by Jamroom AND IF SO HOW?

I'm leaving mine in as a thank you... but I'm going to change the "Powered by" to "Built on" because otherwise it reminds me too much of Ning/Glam, where they technically owned my site and always had control over it and could pull their 'power' plug whenever they felt like it.
