Is there a way through Jamroom or a recomended third party setup anyone is using to extract beats per minute (BPM) and displaying BPM info with the audio file?
Thanks

Nothing built into Jamroom. The route to do this would be to find a script that specifically detects bpm in a specified MP3 and then build it into a custom module that 'listens' for audio items being created or updated and then runs the script and adds the returned bpm to the audio item datastore.

I've found some command line audio utilities that can do this on Linux - let us know if you would be interested in sponsoring development of a custom module. If you are, contact us at support [at] jamroom [dot] net.

Hope this helps!
