Reload Core not working

When I try to reload the core I get the error message
Quote: Unable to communicate with update server (2)

Reloading the image module does seem to work though, so looks like its just a problem with the core. (and updating blog and the other module which needed updates worked fine)

Also, the quote above contains Unable to communicate with update server (2) - but the 2 in brackets doesn't show.

Yeah I see this too. Something has messed up with the DS functionality, or I've changed something as I believe it is related to the forum entries not showing.

I'm working on it right now.

Just noted in this thread that quotes aren't showing a word when it contains ' or -

They were the last words in the quotes.

this is un-wanted

I'll check that out - the BBCode plugin to handle nested quoting is pretty complicated, so I'll need to add a check in for the end quote tag being "attached" to the last word in the quote.
