Disqus comments and/or normal Jamroom comments?

I am starting a new JR website with the Disqus module already installed with the skin and I was wondering whether to use it.

Anyone using the Disqus module with normal Jamroom comments enabled also? Do they look the same, any problems?

Have you had any problems with Disqus side of things along the way, their servers down or slow, etc.? As I understand it, Disqus also sends email notifications about answers, do they work ok?

The Disqus module was one of the first Jamroom5 modules developed as a quick way to allow comments on items using a third party provider (Disqus). The actual Jamroom comment module was developed soon after.
Personally, I'd always use the Jamroom Comment module as then you'll be always in control of its use, content and look and not reliant on a third party provider.

Ah ok, it kinda felt like it is suggested/recommended for Jamroom as it is pre-installed.

Might be good to take it out of the available skins?

Its still included in the free Core package so as to give users the option to have comments in a basic (free) setup.
Thanks

if you had a site that was just you putting up content and not allowing logins or signups but wanted comments, then disqus.
