Since the new update i was trying to add "$_conf['jrSystemTools_ffmpeg_binary'] = '/usr/bin/ffmpeg';" to the config file and when i did that it started giving me different error (which i cant show here as the Text field wont allow me to post it here, please check the link http://mixbizz.com/beatz/)

Earlier my problem was very similar to the one mentioned in this post:
https://www.jamroom.net/the-jamroom-network/forum/installation-and-configuration/59940/required-ffmpeg-binary-not-found-in-modules-jrcore-tools but now i'm facing a different error

Please advice what could be the possible solution for this

Thanks

Sounds like you might have messed up the config.php file when editing it - that error means JR cannot connect to the MySQL database. The info is stored in the config.php file as well, so you like introduced an error in the file. Remove what you added and it should come back. After you have done that, log in and use the Core -> Tools -> Advanced Config option to add/remove items in the config.php file - there is no need to edit it by hand.

yes of course its messed up, but all we did from our side was to add that line to config file. I even reverted the changes to config file but error remains same, any suggestion what can be done to fix it?

Thanks

The data/config/config.php file is a PHP file, and therefor must be a VALID PHP file syntax wise. Unfortunately without seeing the file I can't tell you what the issue is, but it contains sensitive information so do NOT post it here. Shoot me your FTP and admin info to support [at] jamroom [dot] net and I will fix it for you.
