Enhancement to move multiple gallery images

It would be handy to have a means of transferring multiple images from one gallery to another.
Could that be feasible?
E.g. from a gallery view (or perhaps gallery update view), select multiple images and change the gallery name for those images.

Would this need to be an admin only function, or be available to your users?
Immediate thought is to add a feature to the PhotoAlbum module - Save an album to a gallery.

You're suggesting that we put all the images we want to move into a Photo Album, and then save that album to a gallery:

The only issue with that is that people can save anybody's images to their Photo Album, and we only want them to put images they own into their own galleries. If there was that restriction, then yes, that sounds perfect.

Actually, if this was done, it would need to be a feature of the Gallery module itself and not the PhotoAlbum module as this is a 'move' and not 'copy' items. Its Jamroom practice not to allow one module control over another's items, as much as possible.
Will need to think abut this more.
