The list of tags in the error message says a br should be ok, but I get a failed form submit (on jamroom.net) when updating a warning section.

Weird - that error is coming from the core HTML validator, and should not be an issue. I'll see if I can replicate it here and see what is up.

Thanks!

I just tested this here and I'm not seeing any issues with it. Is there anything unique you can think of that might be different that can help track this down?

Thanks!

Nothing unique, just adding
<br>test
gets the error

I tried it on your warning section there, and there was no error, but it did not save the break, so I'm not sure what is up. I'll check it out when I can here and let you know what's up.

Thanks!

I know why this is happening, and it is due to HTML Purifier modifying the br tag to a self-closing void element, when that's not what we want. It does not appear HTML purifier can be configured to change this (or at least not with what I've read so far) so I'll need to come up with a work around, so will try to get that done here when I'm back in my office.

Thanks!

I just pushed a small change to Jamroom.net here that should fix this up - let me know if you see any issues.

Thanks!
