There are a couple of issues here, maybe ....
1) I have two trees
2) I have a person in Tree A that I want to move to Tree B, however the move to another tree doesn't seem to be working and I've reset caches
3) The same person that would move to Tree B is married to a person that would stay in Tree A and hopefully maintain the link - not sure how to make that connection if it's at all possible ??

The move to another tree _should_ work:

- if you move a profile that has descendants, then the descendants get moved to the new tree as well.
- If the profile has a spouse, the spouse stays in the existing tree (since it is at the same "level" as the profile you are moving)

I've used this before in my own tree, so I believe it works but I will check it out.

Thanks!

definitely is not working as you outlined ... the descendants and the person stay in the first tree

This should be fixed in the latest Genosis Core - update for the marketplace and this should be working. Root cause was that it was not working if the profile being moved had no ancestors.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks!

Thanks, the profile moved, however the descendants didn't move, i had to move them manually and update the sibling info

That's correct - descendants are NOT moved - just ancestors. So if you want to move a profile to another tree, make sure and select the latest ancestor (i.e. the one born the latest) for the move, and all ancestors UNDER that profile will be moved as well.
