i have been trying for 2 hours to just simply increase blog-index-text height from 245 to 290 so it fits and looks better
i edited all the 245s (except the last 1 for the blogs) saved cleared cache..nothing
i added index-blog class and added some css
saved..cleared cache..nothing

either its not saving the edits or not clearing the cacche i tried developer mode too and intregrity check

somethings not right

Just a wild guess- could it be that you also have it set to show a defined number of entries, so the height won't show expanded unless there is content to fill the space?

What templates and CSS are you trying to modify. I'm not very clear on what your trying to do.

Thanks!

its these
 <div class="blog-index-text index-blog" style="{if !jrCore_is_mobile_device()}height:300px;overflow-y:scroll;overflow-x:hidden;{/if}margin: 10px 10px 0 10px;padding-bottom: 10px;">

in the past i had added a class and changed hidden to auto on all of them for the custom scrollbars i no longer use

that worked fine i have no idea why these editrs..wich u clearly see here.. arent taking on the site

They are working. The div is displayed on that item on dread lock site is :
<div style="margin: 10px 10px 0 10px;padding-bottom: 10px;height:245px;overflow:hidden;" class="blog-index-text">

Which is what you have. Maybe you've already fixed it.

Your edits arent? Im not sure I understand. Are you using the ACP to edit the templates or FTP upload? If its FTP upload and changes you make to .tpl files are not coming up, it could be that there is an active template in the ACP that is over-riding it. Check that no template is active if you want to use FTP upload method.

If you are using the site builder modules, you'll want to edit the item_list.tpl, not the index.tpl.

Hope this helps!

Yeah, I can't find that post yet, but I think there was a solution in that thread. I'll see if I can find it.
