Been a few hours this morning trying to embed a tweet in a webpage- and of course Jamroom to protect me from myself keeps stripping out the script-so I am spending hours and posting in a forum where others can just copy/paste..

Here is the code I am trying to embed
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The Arctic is a unique treasure. Given what we know, it&#39;s not worth the risk of drilling. -H</p>&mdash; Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) <a href="https://twitter.com/HillaryClinton/status/633629814713397249">August 18, 2015</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
here is what is getting removed
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

I have added //platform.twitter.com to ALLOWED DOMAIN and to IFRAME CONTROL ...still does not work...I have also added BLOCKQUOTE to ALLOWED HTML TAGS... after all this and reading docs on TWITTER about how some sites like jamroom strip their code...following twitter docs I added this to inside the closing body tag
  <script id="twitter-wjs" type="text/javascript" async defer src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js"></script>

2 questions
1- HOW CAN I MAKE THIS WORK
2- CAN YOU COME UP WITH SOME SORT OF JR SETTINGS THAT STOPS PEOPLE LIKE ME FROM HAVING TO WASTE SO MUCH TIME WHEN TRYING TO EMBED STUFF?

Please give us this option and stop "protecting me" from the internet boogie man

Thanks!

Yeah - I think our best bet here is to have a new "allow all HTML" setting for the quota - that way you can do things like this (i.e. allow script embedding, which is dangerous). Trying to educate Jamroom user's on WHY this is a bad idea is a losing proposition - our best bet is to just give you the rope if you ask for it :)

I'll work that in for the next core release.
