It was at first but after some updates its no longer showing in chat any ideas im using the audio pro skin?

Make sure you are updated to the latest versions.

I'm not seeing an issue on my dev site.

Yeah looks like I am responding to you in 2 places. You want to make sure that you've enabled Smileys in your quotas in Core -> Quota Config -> Active Text Formatters.
