The attached screenshot shows a standard jr login form. The two fields are labelled "user login" and "password". There is a small help button at the side, which may not be noticed by first-time users of a site. It tells the user who happens to click on that to "please enter a valid email address or user name to log into the system."

The term "login" may be understood by most users to refer to the whole process of providing a user name and a password. Not all sites accept email addresses as an alternative to the user name. As a result, the label "user login" does not actually explain anything. The visitor already knows he or she is on the login page.

I would like to replace the words "User login" with the words "User name, or email address" .
How can I do this?

The help button could display a statement such as "Your registered user name or email address"
Where can this be changed?

Thanks.

You can change all Jamroom language strings to say whatever you want. In this case -

ACP=>Users=>User=>Language tab and make the edits there.
