solved My Vimeo Stopped working

I am not sure when this started but I just noticed it now - it may have been broken for a while. On a system check, I get this: "Vimeo API Settings are incorrect - verify Global Config"

The Vimeo module used to work and the global settings did not change on my end. I went to https://developer.vimeo.com and it said I had no app, so perhaps it was deleted on their end due to an upgrade or change?

So I attempted to create a new app and made the global settings again but I am unable to add a video by link or search - it doesn't seem to be connecting.

The Vimeo interface doesn't look the same as the screenshots, is the documentation out of date? On a System Check I still get flagged with "Vimeo API Settings are incorrect - verify Global Config" even though i have created a new app and redid the settings.

Video File Access

Your Vimeo Basic membership doesn't give you direct access to your video files. To get this capability, upgrade your membership to Pro, Business, Premium or Enterprise.

Could it be that they at some point started to require a subscription in order to get te API working? It was free before.

HI Ken - yeah that would not surprise me that they have started charging - Vimeo has tried to reposition itself as a repository for business video hosting. In fact I can't even look at their API docs without having an account:
