Set Limits on the number of streams and downloads a User can do in one day
Version 1.2.0b1:
- Change: Two simultaneous first requests of the day are now both counted
- Change: Deleting a limit now requires the request to come from the site itself
- Change: A user at the daily limit can still seek in or resume the last allowed play or download, but partial requests for any other item are now refused
- Change: The module is called "Media Limits" everywhere (ACP tab, Tools entry, page title and help)
- Bug Fix: Streams and downloads that the core refused (for example an item for sale or a missing media file) were counted against the daily limit
- Bug Fix: A deleted limit stayed in force for logged in users until they logged in again, and for new logins until the quota cache expired
- Bug Fix: The 5 second browser scan window only worked for the first play of the day - after that every request a browser made for one play was counted
- Bug Fix: Users over the stream limit were shown the "maximum number of downloads" message
- Bug Fix: PHP warnings on the Media Limits page for a limit whose module is no longer installed
- Bug Fix: The last allowed play of the day was refused in browsers that send two requests per play (Safari)
- Developer: Removed the unused "check_stream_status" view - it read a quota key that never exists and always answered OK
- Developer: Removed config.php - it only deleted the "require_login" setting removed in version 1.1.0
Version 1.1.1:
- Change: Updates and optimizations to better support PHP 8+

Version 1.0.5:
