Setup notification events based on entries in the Activity Log
Version 1.5.0b1:
- Change: Rule form help corrected - the update form now lists the "remove" action, "admins" notifies Site and Master Admins (not Profile Admins), and regular expressions are case sensitive unless they use the i modifier
- Change: The rule Test view searches the most recent 50,000 Activity Log entries (it read the whole Activity Log when a rule had few matches) and says how many entries it searched
- Bug Fix: Log Watch rules created before version 1.2.0 (priority stored as "ALL") never matched any Activity Log entry
- Bug Fix: A "remove" rule stopped removing entries for its Rule Delay after another rule had sent a notification for the same entry
- Bug Fix: A Rule Match string starting with a slash that is not a regular expression (such as /user/login) never matched and caused a PHP warning for every Activity Log entry - it is now matched as plain text
- Bug Fix: A rule with an invalid Rule Action (a typo, or "Masters" with a capital M) could be saved, and then logged a CRI Activity Log entry for every match, ignoring the Rule Delay
- Bug Fix: Saving a rule with a 15 minute Rule Delay in the update form changed it to "notify on every rule match"
- Bug Fix: A rule name or match longer than 128 characters (or an action over 255) showed a database error page instead of a form error
- Bug Fix: Activity Log entries that contained the word "logwatch" anywhere (such as a /logwatch/ URL) were never matched by any rule
- Developer: New jrLogWatch_is_regex() function checks if a Rule Match string is a valid regular expression
- Developer: New jrLogWatch_get_valid_action() function validates a Rule Action - jrLogWatch_create_rule() now returns false for an invalid action
- Developer: New jrLogWatch_get_delay_options() function returns the Rule Delay options for the rule forms
