The Gallery Image EXIF module is an add on to the Image Gallery module. It reads image EXIF data from JPG and TIFF files and stores the additional info in the DataStore. This can then be used for searching and listing gallery data based on the EXIF data in the gallery images.

This module has no tools or settings, it just searches for extra info when images are added and stores that extra info in the datastore. If you don't need that extra info, then this module is probably not needed.
