Audio files that have been uploaded recently get stuck and display the message below.
"This audio file is currently being processed and will appear here when complete."

Sounds like the conversion workers are stuck - run an integrity check with "repair modules" checked - that should fix it up. This can happen if there's a conversion in process and the worker process "bombs out" due to a server or web server restart. The next core release has an update to the hourly maintenance check to watch for this and should be able to automatically fix it, but for now the integrity check should help.

yeah i have never had any issues with this before it seems to be epileptic , sometimes it works just fine but i recently uploaded 10 audio files and all of them display that processing message. However i can still listen to the audio files via the round play/pause button.

Thats a big clue. URL for one of the audio files that shows the "this is still being processed" message please.

and the logins for admin so I can see what that template looks like.

What is the url of your site where I can see "This audio file is currently being processed and will appear here when complete."

What is the admin username and password for your site.

If you cant post the login details so I can look at the template code for your page, you'll need to look for what is wrong. I suspect your item_detail.tpl page is not up-to-date with the latest version.

As a test try changing to a current non-altered jamroom skin like elastic2 and see if the message is still visible. If it goes away when you change to the elastic skin then the message is a result of something in your .tpl file, probably a check for the wrong file type.

Email the url of an audio page showing that message, along with your admin login to support[at]jamroom[dot]net and we'll take a look.

You can use a different version of sox than the one packaged with jamroom if you like, info here:

Docs: "Howto use a different ffmpeg binary"

Not sure what this means, could you take a screenshot. List what you are seeing and what you expect to see.

The only thing that should change the audio update form is the Form Designer, so if you've been using that then you can disable fields.

If sox is not working correctly, your conversions are not going to work correctly. You need to be on hosting that supports all of the System Tools.
