completed Genosis Events' Translation

Hello Brian,

I know that you carried most of the sections to be able to translate to language strings and really appreciate it. But the options from create a new event screen come in English. Is there something we can do for that?

Hmmm - let me check that out. I thought I had moved all form strings to the lang file, but I must have overlooked some. I will get it fixed up here ASAP.

Thanks - yeah I see it's the event name list. These were overlooked since they are actually strings from the Genosis Core - not the events module. I'm updating them now and will have a new release out that fixes it up.

I just updated the Genosis Core module to the new release (1.4.3) that now has these new language strings in it. Let me know if you see any issues.

Ok, there are some problems i try to explain them.

First of all some of the events existing on the list appair in two languages. And i think those are the events that has already existed in the db. For example if i choose birth in English it appairs on the parent's page but if i choose the translated version of the birth event it doesn't appair on the page at all. And i chose linked events such as marriage in translated version the linked person section does not get activated.

And additioanlly existing events on the timelines began to appair in English.

Hmm.. the change I made was just to the lang strings - no where else, so your timeline should not be affected in any way.

I'm not sure what you mean by this:

Yeah I know why this is happening. I just pushed out version 1.4.4 that rolls back the select field changes. The lang strings are still there, but in this version are being ignored. I'm going to have to implement this differently than I thought I would, otherwise the existing events and new events will not link up. I'm out of town right now and am out of time here for today, but update to version 1.4.4 so you can still work on your site - I will get a fixed version of this out this week that works for you.

My latest updates to the Genosis Core and Genosis Events modules should have this all working - update and let me know if you see any issues. Note that the event lang strings were removed from the Genosis Core - they are only defined in the Genosis Events.

Thank you Brian! Everything looking great!

The only thing left in original language in the event selection list is "birth of child".
It appairs in the timelines in translated version but in the event selection list still in English. I know birth of child event is different than others. So it's not important i just wanted to let you know.
