When I create a new tree, and I do not check the box "Researcher Only" what does that mean exactly? Will the tree only be viewable? Thanks, Lisa

"Researcher Only" means the tree will only be visible to users who are "researchers" - it won't be visible to the public. If it is unchecked, then the tree will be selectable by non-logged in users via the "trees" drop down at the top of the page (date restrictions are in effect as well).

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks!

Hmmmmm... so if it is unchecked, will researchers still be able to work on it or no? I guess I want to put information in my main tree, but I still want the researchers to be able to work on their respective families. What do you suggest?

Yes - researchers can always work on any tree - the "researchers only" option simply makes that tree only visible to researchers, so you should be good.

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks!
