moving jr site to a subdomain

is it possible to move jamroom to a subdomain on my server without losing users. if there is documentation can someone point me to it?

JR4 or JR5?
If JR4 - http://www.jamroom.net/FAQ_Change_Directory_or_Domain
If JR5 its a lot easier - make the move, then edit the /data/config/config.php file to reflect the change.

You also need to delete all the files in the following 2 directories:

data/cache/jrCore/*
data/cache/ActiveSkin/*

Where "ActiveSkin" is the directory name of your active skin - i.e. "jrElastic".

Those 2 directories contain cached templates, css and javascript, and those files will need to be rebuilt for the new URL.
