Hi @nomic - Welcome to Jamroom
A quick way to try Jamroom out and see if its suitable for your daughter's site is to set it up on our hosting with a 7 day free trial - https://www.jamroom.net/nomic/hosting/overview
Jamroom will be pre-installed ready to go and you'll have access to all of our skins and modules. If it looks good and you want to continue on our servers, just let it run, otherwise, then set up Jamroom on your hosting and close the Jamroom server down before the end of the trial period and there will be no charges.
Hope that helps
Paul
HINT - If your daughter is setting up a social site, try out the 'Follow Me' skin first. That one has been developed just for this purpose.

thats the one she picked from the demos
she wants to give everyone a good profile page let them upload videos and pics but she wants to have featured videos with fashion and makeup tips for her friends with an online store where she will sell fashion jewelry.
i did have a lifetime subscription to emeeting script which i was going to modify for this purpose and add cubecart but they were taken over by advandate and there refusing to honor my lifetime membership that i paid for so im having to start from scratch with you guys for her site.
but want to try get the profile pages setup simlar to there layout if you like i can try it on your 7 day plan as long as i can transfer the site to my hosting as a whole as it does not cost me anything extra to have her on my plan as its unlimited hosted and domains etc

Yes - you could grab the entire site from our hosting, via SFTP and a database export, but if you can set it up on your hosting now, it'll save the hassle in a weeks time ;-)
Maybe try one of our Premium packages instead on your hosting. They have a 30 day trial and you still get access to all our skins and modules - https://www.jamroom.net/start

installing is pretty easy. add a database to your server, run the install script, enter the database details.

The tricky parts are deciding how you want to setup the quota system, there's a lot of flexibility, so keep it simple at first and extend if you need to.

And deciding which modules you want to use. Its better not to have to buy a module in order to decide if you want to use it or not, so take advantage of the free trial period on the Jamroom Hosting, or the longer free trial period on the Premium package on your server to install and try out the modules you're thinking about using.
