When I look at "who's online" I can see people or entities listed by their IP addresses, and it shows what area of my site they are looking at even if they are not logged in.

How can I search my member list by IP address so I can match up IP to member, and see if that 'mystery' IP identity is actually one of my members trying to log in or reset their password for example?
I'm hoping that I can browse my members' IP addresses, as we can in Ning.

Again, being able to download a .csv of member data to my computer in a format that opens neatly in Excel would be incredibly valuable. I use it all the time for my current ning site. I was able to sort by name, by hometown, by birthday, etc....all that enabled me to pinpoint and remove duplicate members (even if they had signed up with two different user names) and thus clean up my membership roster in preparation for migrating to Jamroom. I'll really hate losing that once I'm off Ning.

Thanks!

You can't really - Jamroom does not "store" the IP Address for a user account. You can see it in who's online because Jamroom's session support provides, but as soon as a session expires (15 minutes) you're not going to have it. You can't pinpoint a user to a specific IP for the most part anyway as with DHCP the last 1 or 2 octets will change frequently.

I don't think you will "lose it" - it's just not something we have created yet. I believe we have a ticket open for it, but being short handed these last few weeks AND having higher priority work that we are currently working on, I can only say it is "coming soon".

Thanks!

I just added in a DataStore CSV export for the next core release - so that should help you out.

Thanks!

Just used this new ability.... it's terrific to have this opening better in Excel now- thank you!! :)

I know you said you can't add the member IP address to the csv file...but can you add their EMAIL address? The csv file seems to not include that, and it's kind of important member info to keep a copy of on my computer. That would be great.

The user's email address is included as "user_email" in the CSV file when you export from the User Accounts module (not the User Profiles module).

Let me know if that helps.
