I uploaded how to videos to my site and created a new profile called FAQ and tried to embed the video in an answer to the question but it just shows the code?

you know what i just decided to use a forum style profile and call it faq and the video embed works on it that way not sure why faq dont like the video though lol

You can embed using the URL scanner module:

Look in your quota config tab, in your CORE settings. It could be the new 'faq' profile is in the regular member quota thus doesn't have that ability enabled. Sounds like maybe your "forum" profile quota has more options enabled.

the forum works just as well it looks better imo the way it is set up and i like that it encourages interaction thanks guys
