The System Check

The System Check tests your server and your Jamroom setup, and says what needs attention. Run it after installing, after moving your site to another server, and whenever something isn't working.

Open it at ACP > Modules > Core > System Core > Tools > System Check.

Each line has a Value, a colored Result and a Note:

• Green: fine.
• Yellow or red: needs attention. The note says what's wrong and often links to the fix.

The checks come in groups:

• The server: Jamroom version, operating system, web server, PHP version, database, memory cache, writable directories, maximum upload size.
• Modules: each module can add its own checks, for example the Marketplace connection or the Geo Location database.
• System Tools: the media tools (ffmpeg, convert, sox, ...) are present and work.

Create the Admin Account explains the lines a new site usually shows. If a note doesn't tell you enough, ask in the Support Forum and include a screenshot of the line.
