Deletion of Smileys

Hi,
We had the default set of smileys available for users. I was asked if I could extend the choice from the 5 defaults, so I went to the Smiley Support screen and selected "reload". I got loads more smileys than I really wanted, so now I would like to remove the ones that are surplus to requirements.
I find I have to delete them one at a time, which is a bit of a pain.

Is it possible to put a selected group of smileys into a category (e.g. "spares") and then disable that category only?

Alternatively, it would be nice to have a button that deletes the selected smileys.

Subsidiary questions...
1) I have deleted the ones I don't want and reordered the remainder, category by category. Now they are completely mixed when I look at the Smiley browser. It shows the first from each category, then the second from each category and so on.

The smileys are not appearing in the new order in the Smiley box of the comment editor although I have reset caches. Is the order set in the smiley browser supposed to be reflected in the order in the comment editor box?

2) The default smileys are at the bottom of the box and I'd like them to be at the top. How can I change that please, or should I get rid of them altogether?

I hope you can help.

I can see that deleting smileys one at a time can be a pain. Will look into adding a 'Delete Seleted' button.

But when I reorder smileys in a category they do show in the new order in the editor field. Are you not seeing that?

Ah yes. They are now re-ordered in the editor pop-up.
In the Smiley Browser, they are no longer sorted within category, but that's not a problem, because I can look at them one category at a time.

Delete selected would be great.

I hope no one minds if I add here a couple of other things that 'smileys' used to do well, but no longer do over the past year or so:
1) used to be able to drag a smiley to a different place in the text editor box, while you were composing a post. Like if you wanted your smiley to be at the end of an earlier sentence instead of at the end of a paragraph for example. No longer possible to drag the smiley to a new position.
2) Used to be able to add multiple spaces after a smiley, to create a longer space after the smiley and before the next sentence in the same line (for added emphasis)...OR to create more space between smileys if you have several in a row. I think it's not possible to add more than maybe one space now after a smiley.Lots of my animated smileys look really crowded unless i put several spaces between them.

@strumelia - the text colour selection has changed for the better though. There's a colour picker now.

I have noticed that Embed Local Media has changed and not in a good way. I can no longer use the Advanced settings to place an image 'left', 'normal' or 'right' aligned. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding something, or perhaps there is a better way now?

It's still there (see my screenshot) unless I'm not understanding where you're looking?

Brian, sorry, I should have been more specific - I just assumed it was everywhere.
I was editing the "Welcome to PaintMyPhoto" Blog page that appears on the Home screen.
I had copied in some text, urls and pictures from a discussion comment (competition winners).
When I try to re-position the thumbnail image, I can select it and choose to Edit it. If I go to the Advanced tab, I get the screen attached, and I can place the cursor but I can't type anything into the formatting box, e.g. float: right;

The url of the image is https://pmp-art.com/gallery/image/gallery_image/286115/medium/_v=779641567559921

What you're looking at are the controls for TinyMCE - we don't have control over that portion of the editor unfortunately.
